Changes to EU Customs

From 1 July 2026, all orders shipped into the EU are subject to new import charges. Here's what's changing and how it affects you.

What's happening

Previously, orders under €150 shipped into the EU had all tax and import fees covered by the IOSS (Import One-Stop Shop) scheme, so customers didn't pay anything extra at the border.

From 1 July 2026, the EU is removing this process. Instead, a flat €3 charge will apply per product type (commodity code) on orders. For example:

T-shirt only: €3
CD + T-shirt bundle: €6 (€3 per product type)
CD + Vinyl + T-shirt bundle: €9 (€3 per product type)
3x Vinyl bundle: €3 (one product type)

+ any couriers administration charges.

What this means for the customer

The quick, IOSS customs clearance process is ending. All EU-bound shipments will now go through fuller customs checks, with duties calculated per item.

To keep things simple, we've built this cost into our shipping charges rather than adding it as a separate fee at checkout, so the price you see for shipping already reflects any applicable import charges for orders.

Placing an order

If ordered before 1 July 2026 but the order arrives in the EU on or after that date, customers may be asked to pay import duties on delivery. These charges are the customer's responsibility.

If ordered on or after 1 July 2026, the relevant cost will be included in the shipping total at checkout, and the order will be sent on a duties-paid basis, no surprise charges on delivery.
